Weatherbys has been sponsoring races in the UK for over 30 years. We also sponsor races and support events in Ireland and France. In 2010 Weatherbys put their name to over 100 individual races in the UK.
We sponsor many quality races during the year, including The Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury, The Weatherbys Insurance Lonsdale Cup at York, The Weatherbys Bank Cheshire Oaks at Chester, The Weatherbys Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, The Weatherbys Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket and The Weatherbys Insurance £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes at Doncaster.
Alongside such prestigious races, Weatherbys provide great support for the grass roots of the industry and we always award best turned out prizes in our sponsored races.
Weatherbys are also keen supporters of relevant charitable causes, supporting amongst others, Racing Welfare. BHEST, Injured Jockeys' Fund, Rehabilitation of Racehorses, Spinal Injuries Association and the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre.
It was a Classic weekend in France whilst it was the Trials that took centre stage in the Uk.
