Assistant Recoveries Manager (Temporary Role - Maternity Cover)

Arkle Finance is the Asset Finance subsidiary of Weatherbys Bank specializing in small ticket leasing for small business throughout the UK. An Assistant to the Recoveries Manager is required to join the team with the main responsibility being to assist coordinating day to day aspects of asset recovery to mitigate loss by the effective management of resources.

 Key Responsibilities will include

• Day to day management of the recovery process and Recoveries team members. Specific areas under the role’s custody include asset recoveries, litigation proceedings and settlement negotiation.

 Other responsibilities will involve

• Regularly liaising with, external agents, client’s representatives and other internal departments where appropriate.
• Guiding, coaching and handling of staff matters.

 The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of collections and recoveries functions, including litigation. Extensive commercial awareness of negotiating settlement of complex cases would be essential for this role as is the ability to work accurately, efficiently, strictly in accordance with bank processes and procedures and in an organised fashion. You will therefore be well organized, a problem solver and highly numerate

You will be educated to at least A-Level or equivalent standard, enthusiastic, conscientious and professional in your work approach. Excellent communication skills, as well as a flexible attitude to work are crucial. Experience of the Finance Industry is vital to this role, as is the ability to use all Microsoft packages to a high standard. Knowledge of the Consumer Credit act and Consumer Directive would be advantageous.
