Race Verdict
Jamie Spencer is an interesting booking for David Bridgewater's Edgeworth, who narrowly missed out over this trip at Doncaster. However, a subsequent 3lb rise leaves him with no margin for error and of more appeal is SAINT THOMAS following his seasonal debut success over this C&D. John Mackie's gelding has a 2lb higher mark to contend with, but is entitled to strip fitter for that outing and deserves extra credit for coming from off the pace to score in a steadily-run affair. Wicked Spirit didn't have much luck in three trips to Dundalk last autumn but starts life with Mark Johnston off a handy mark.
