Race Verdict

Marhaba Malyoon inevitably catches the eye, not only as the sole unexposed member of the field but also having run in last year's Derby. He finished tailed off there and his level of ability remains uncertain, so it's probably best to adopt a watching brief on this comeback run although the market could speak volumes about his chances. Jeu De Vivre seemingly detested Fibresand last time but her previous fourth behind Shubaat was a praiseworthy performance and she appeals back on turf. Most of the others may need this and the race-fit Persian Peril, behind the selection last time, looks next best.

Selection: Jeu De Vivre        Danger: Persian Peril        Alternative: Marhaba Malyoon
