SAMBA KING has been making hay under today's rider Mikael Barzalona this season, getting off the mark at Yarmouth before producing an even more convincing display at Sandown. The son of Dubai Destination is up 9lb for that Esher success, but he's open to further improvement and can strike again. Stablemate Gold Rally was disappointing on his return to action but more can be expected of him, while Cravat has yet to hit top form this term and after two runs this season, he has a fair bit to prove. The maiden Mubaraza may improve for the step up to this trip, while Open Water looked a middle-distance horse as a juvenile, so this could be the making of him.
