GUSTO had some smart form to his name as a juvenile but Richard Hannon's Oasis Dream colt has clearly done very well over the winter, returning with a pair of Listed successes, the latter when running out a game winner at Maisons-Lafitte last month. A winner on this surface at Lingfield previously, his long term aim remains the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot and he looks to hold all the aces again today. Bannock was third to the selection in that aforementioned Lingfield contest but his Free Handicap second last time was a step in the right direction, while Samminder was held in high regard last year and remains open to considerable progress.
