Race Verdict

Malin Bay warrants plenty of respect following handicap wins at Kelso and Ayr last month, but CAUSES OF CAUSES edges the vote in receipt of 13lb. Representing the highly respected Gordon Elliott stable, he showed a likeable attitude when beating subsequent scorer White Feathers in maiden company over 2m3f at Kilbeggan last time and this longer trip is unlikely to cause any problems. Uttoxeter scorer An Capall Mor should give it a good go from the front end.

Selection: Cause Of Causes        Danger: Malin Bay        Alternative: An Capall Mor
