Race Verdict

Nothing makes great appeal in a tricky handicap but BROUGHTON SANDS should have more to offer after just a couple of turf starts, most recently when looking all at sea on Windsor's heavy ground. She should be more at home on the soft and Mickael Barzalona is an interesting booking for Willie Musson. She's been solid and consistent and is preferred to Russian Storm who's been in good nick on the Polytrack this year and has good claims if transferring that level to turf. Hurakan has place claims whilst the unexposed Greeley House almost certainly has more to come.

Selection: Broughton Sands        Danger: Russian Storm        Alternative: Hurakan
