A contest that always attracts talented three-year-olds. GRANDEUR has some way to go to live up to his name but looked highly progressive when going clear in impressive fashion to score at Goodwood last time. After just four runs, the Verglas gelding seems sure to improve again and receives the vote ahead of Hajras. The latter is on the upgrade too and ran really well when second to Expense Claim in the London Gold Cup. Star Date ran away with a decent Ripon maiden last time and looks feasibly treated whilst this looks the ideal trip for the previously well-touted Wrotham Heath. He'll need to deliver here though having been relatively disappointing on both outings this term.
