Race Verdict
Jolly Roger readily won both starts at Uttoxeter last month and has a big chance of completing the hat-trick despite an 11lb rise in the ratings for his latest success, but LETTERPRESS gets the vote in receipt of 8lb. The King's Theatre gelding stepped up on a couple of respectable placed efforts when scoring comfortably over C&D on Saturday and, with that confidence booster under his belt, he could defy a 7lb penalty. David Pipe's only runner on the card, Qalinas, can't be ruled out.
