Race Verdict

It could pay to take a chance on the Benny Andersson-owned KORNGOLD, who should be approaching peak fitness now after two outings this term and drops back to 1m4f, over which he was successful at Chepstow last summer. Chatterer went down by just a neck at Newmarket latest and looks the principal threat now tackling this longer trip, although a chance is also given to Alan King's Kings Troop, who has dropped back down to a previous winning mark and benefits from the assistance of Jimmy Fortune in the saddle.

Selection: Korngold        Danger: Chatterer        Alternative: Kings Troop
