Race Verdict

Little recent winning form on show and a chance for RED LAW to build on a fair performance when a respectable staying-on third behind Millers Reef in a similar Hereford contest. He was previously well beaten, understandably, by the progressive Whatshallwedo at Sedgefield and this appeals as a realistic assignment. He'll handle both the step up in trip and softer ground conditions. Captain Tidds showed enough at Worcester last time to be regarded as a threat, whilst Safe Investment is worth careful consideration after a break despite top-weight. Michigan D'Isop completes the shortlist after a fair Ffos Las effort.

Selection: Red Law        Danger: Captain Tidds        Alternative: Safe Investment
