The Irish challenge looks particularly strong this year with debut winners Cristoforo Colombo and Lines of Battle sent over from Ballydoyle, and the unbeaten DAWN APPROACH lining up following three smooth successes to date. There is no doubt this son of the brilliant New Approach faces his toughest test so far today, but this stiff 6f should be right up his street and it is hard not to have been impressed with what he has shown so far. The form of Englishman's debut Newbury success has since taken a number of boosts and he is sure to have his supporters, although the pick of the home guard could well prove to be Heavy Metal, who looked an unlucky loser at Epsom but had shown a good attitude in winning twice previously. The unbeaten duo Indian Jade and Sir Prancealot are also considered, the latter having impressed when winning in Listed company at Sandown.
