Race Verdict

MR FONG didn't do as well as expected on his Wolverhampton comeback but last season's two efforts are just about the pick of the form on offer here. That spin in April gives him something of a fitness edge over the similarly unexposed Viscount Vert, who has a hood on for the first time. Devote Myself is the only previous winner in the line-up but he struggled subsequently at Doncaster.
