Race Verdict

It was tough not to be impressed with the way Takeitfromalady recaptured the winning thread at Windsor on Monday and a 6lb penalty for that might not be enough to stop him going in again. Preference, however, is for JACK WHO'S HE, who caught the eye when out-running his odds of 20-1 at the same Berkshire track last month, and the booking of Richard Hughes suggests connections are hopeful tonight. He's performed well on easy ground, albeit in defeat, and the step back up to 1m should play to his strengths. Mr Spiggott and Restaurateur are others of note.

Selection: Jack Who's He        Danger: Takeitfromalady        Alternative: Restaurateur
