Race Verdict

Lucky Lukey was progressive last year and he can make his presence felt if at the top of his game on his return to action. Another Kate must be respected, despite a 6lb rise for her Hereford success last month and Shallow Bay also makes the shortlist, along with Parc Des Princes. THE MAD ROBERTSON has shown promise in bumpers and three runs over hurdles and with the step up in trip likely to suit, he can play a leading role on his handicap debut.

Selection: The Mad Robertson        Danger: Another Kate        Alternative: Lucky Lukey
