Race Verdict

Satanic Beat has winning C&D form on fast ground and has feasible claims if leaving behind a wayward effort at Haydock, while the lightly-raced Warcrown looks worth a market check making her handicap debut on the back of a track and trip victory in maiden company last month. Sweetnessandlight warrants respect too after bagging a double over this trip at Thirsk, but the one with the greatest potential in the race is ASATIR, who struggled to land a blow when sent off favourite for a competitive Glorious Goodwood handicap last time but will find this a much more suitable assignment.

Selection: Asatir        Danger: Warcrown        Alternative: Satanic Beat
