These fences seem to take some jumping so the recent C&D success of IFONLYALFIE bodes well for a clear round today. He concedes weight all round but was clear from some way out last time and can follow up despite a 9lb hike in the weights. Douglas also went well here last time when just outbattled by Le Grand Chene and another solid run is envisaged, but Chandlers Cross appeals as the main danger. The former pointer beat all bar Allerford Jack at Worcester last time and a similar performance will see him involved at the business end.
